We are very excited to announce the start of our Doon Heights Maths Challenge. Every learner who enters stands the chance of winning a prize to reward their Mathematical skills and effort. Last year’s Challenge was a great success and our learners thoroughly enjoyed taking part in it.
The Maths Challenge starts on 15th August 2016 and will end on 9th September 2016. Every week each class will do two short Maths tests during their computer lesson. These will entail numerical identification (only for Grade R), time tables, addition and/or subtraction. Every learner will be assessed and their results will be monitored.
We know that some learners are more inclined to do well in Maths, but this should not discourage learners from taking part. We will have big prizes for the most improved learner in each class too. This opens the prizes up for any learner to potentially go home with one. Unfortunately to be able to win a prize, the learner must have paid the entry fee of R 20.
There will be many amazing prizes up for grabs. Remember that you can pay at any stage during the course of the next four weeks. As all learners results will be recorded.
